Ç From early childhood I developed a propensity to modify the environment by adding beauty, colours and shape to everyday objects.
I remember as a child drawing everything around me, trying to bring it to the paper and embellishing it. I therefore cultivated a love for detail and the intimate wish to express the complexity and the diversity of nature.
As basic as the drawing objects were, so were also the tools I used: a simple pencil and crayons. I discovered the possibility of doing more out of simplicity.
The free hand swing became the foundation of my drawing technique. The gentle, harmonious lines crossing and meeting each other in different patterns contributed to characterise my peculiar sign.
The "game" with the surface which enlarges and shrinks itself was more and more tempting to me in order to create depths, shadows and surfaces. In this way I came to three dimensional images.
The next step came with the combination of different tones. Gradually, the drawings became more dense and some fluorescent colours and patterns were drawn on black paper.
I'm trying more and more to express the most from simple things.
The ball point pen and ink offer me the opportunity to draw clear, well-defined lines and fields. The ease and simplicity of these materials fascinated me as well as the choice of pigments which made it possible to transfer feelings to paper.
I work without templates, sketches, or aids. My technique is to draw the basic patterns at the beginning, using both hands, as if an everyday doodle has taken a wonderful turn and been transformed into fine art.
My artwork comes to life in the timelessness and harmony of the moment; patterns and shapes, colours and lines flow into each other to form a holistic meaning, and each combine their place and vibrancy, chaos and order, into a whole.
The experience of harmony and balance points to the beauty, variety and complexity of the whole. The small details of form add to a comprehensive meaning. They remain hanging on the edge of the sheet of paper and thereby receive their position. A liveliness, and a sense of chaos and order, links up to a whole.
A great longing for creativity developed from the very depths of my heart. To express this creativity in a creative process turned out to be my vocation and mission in life in an ever increasing manner.
During the time I extend my passion of self-expression in the areas of Fashion and Interior Design.
Guided thought Art is Fashion, Fashion is Art, supported me to give my patterns the new base of expression, the smooth, tender silk scarf.
The special Form of Lillus Art Chair, inspirited me to transform my pattern from the paper to interesting roundly form of this object and give the space as the object the new experience of perception:
Art to Space, Space to Art.
